Rev. James D. Jones retired as President of the United Methodist Memorial Home (Heritage Pointe Communities) Board of Trustees at the September 29, 2020 Board meeting.  He was presented with a plaque in honor of his service.  Rev. Jones was elected to the Board in June 2014 and was elected President of the Board in May 2018.  He also served on the UMMH Foundation Board, Heritage Pointe of Huntington Foundation Board, Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne Foundation Board, and several other Committees. 

Rev. Jones was a valued member of the Board of Trustees and Foundation Boards.  His viewpoint and outlook on matters shared at the meetings were always in the best interests of the residents, employees and UMMH.
