22 Feb Heritage American Girls and Residents of Heritage Pointe of Huntington Create Great Memories Together
On February 13th, residents of Heritage Pointe of Huntington senior living community were entertained and engaged by three-dozen members of Heritage American Girls of Huntington County. The girls, ages 5-14, sang, played musical instruments, read poetry, played games, danced, and more, all in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
Heritage American Girls describes itself as a “Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 5-18 years of age. Heritage American Girls is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.” Group leader Kristen Heckber said that the girls have visited Heritage Pointe of Huntington senior living community several other times. “We have been proud of our girls for the way they’ve interacted with the residents and represented Heritage American Girls.” She added, “I consider the events just as good for our girls as they are for the residents.”
“This was a perfect 10 stars out of 10 for everyone involved. So many great memories were created, and fun times were had by all,” said Brad Fuller, Activity Director of Heritage Pointe of Huntington.
