Heritage Point of Huntington Earns Prestigious Recognition

The healthcare center at Heritage Point of Huntington has earned the prestigious five-star quality rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This distinctive recognition Is a testament to the excellent service and care provided by the senior living community’s healthcare team. “We are proud that our efforts are successful and being officially recognized,” said Chod Boxwell, chief executive officer of Heritage Pointe Communities.

CMS created the rating system to help consumers compare nursing homes. The rating system is based on health inspections, quality measures, and staffing. The five-star overall quality rating is the highest score possible.

“This five-star rating assures family members that the care we provide to their loved ones is the best possible,” said Boxwell.

Heritage Point of Fort Wayne, which is Heritage Pointe of Huntington’s sister community, has also earned a five-star rating from CMS. “This reflects our system-wide commitment to excellence,” said Boxwell.
