Heritage Pointe of Huntington Hosts Cruise-In Classic Car Event

They’re like fine wine and (often) like people. Cars just keep getting better with age.

Last weekend, residents, staff, and their families, and friends enjoyed Heritage Pointe of Huntington senior living community’s Car Cruise-In event. Approximately 30 classic cars of all makes, models, and vintages were on display for the delighted attendees. The Cruise-In also featured live musical entertainment by Alan Schaffer, who, reflective of the event’s theme, performed 50’s and 60s favorites. JB’s Food Truck was on-site, and Heritage Pointe of Huntington provided soft-serve ice cream sundaes. Door prizes were awarded to all of the classic car owners.

“This is an annual tradition that is eagerly anticipated by residents and staff, as well as the classic car owners. We’re already looking forward to next year’s Car Cruise-In,” said Brad Fuller, activities director.
